As objective third parties, an analyst’s integrity is based on being able to deliver a perspective on a market without actually taking an investment in shaping the market. Because of this dedication to objectivity, the value of a perspective of an independent analyst firm is priceless.

Aside from analyst firms, the other primary source of industry “education” comes from the vendor side of the world. Though vendors have a significant stake in shaping the market, as their goal is to sell product, they can’t have a truly objective industry perspective.

Vicorp knows it’s time for a different perspective.

Over the past 26 years, Vicorp has charted the real-time communications market. As an independent vendor, Vicorp’s success is based solely on our ability to work with any vendor in our space. Our real world experience as an independent vendor, deploying solutions in enterprises, service providers and carriers all over the world stands unmatched.

As an independent vendor selling solutions over existing infrastructure, we grow when the market grows.

Vicorp is giving back to the voice and real-time communications industry with the formation of the Strategic Services Group. The Vicorp Strategic Services Group was formed in 2007 to provide a unique perspective on the nature of the industry. The group has launched two programs:

  • Strategic Advisory Service – Providing free analysis, opinion and advisory services
  • Strategic Consulting Service – Providing clients targeted research and consulting

Vicorp’s Strategic Services are not designed to replace primary sources of industry research and information. Our charter is to supplement the messaging coming out from the media, vendors and analysts. We’ll analyze the industry hot points and provide our unique perspective on everyone else’s perspective. The result is an independent industry voice, and our self-interest is truly on making the market larger, more innovative and sustainable.

Vicorp is dedicated to complete transparency. If we’ve worked with a vendor and seen challenges, won a deal with a partner we’re reporting on or advising in a sector in which Vicorp products are sold, we’ll tell it like it is. We’ll never ghost-write a white paper: if we’ve written it, we’ll stand behind it.
